will.i.am speaks on using mobile devices as an Artst during the keynote address at the WES 2010 for BlackBerry® User conference in Orlando, FL on April 27, 2010.

will.i.am said, "It's such an awesome pleasure to have BlackBerry as a partner on our [Black Eyed Peas] tour and the work that we do in the entertainment world."

He explains that the BlackBerry is not just for connecting on a business level, but he also uses it to connect on an entertainment level - to connect with fans, with our Dipdive application. Soon artists will deliver music through phones directly to millions of fans. I'm excited to make it the industry standard. I see BlackBerry not just as a business device, but the all-in business entertainment delivery system.

will.i.am ended his address by thanking BlackBerry and stating, "I'm here because I'm passionate about this device, the instrument that it is, [like how] trumpets connect people, so does this phone, on a totally different level... 21st century..."
